Flower Girl creates permanent everlasting works of art for all types of special occasions; Weddings, Birthdays, Corporate Events, Funerals and large Commissions.
While planning her wedding in 2016, Simone decided to hand craft all of her flowers out of recycled paper. It was a way to personalise her special day. She also wanted to create something that would last much longer than the day itself. From there, Flower Girl was born.
Simone works with you every step of the way, from initial ideas to hand delivering your bouquet.
For weddings Simone can create personalised bouquets, pin holes, corsages, wall decorations, table centrepieces, as well as bringing your ideas to life.
Simone can create these wonderful works of art out of almost any paper, recycled or new. Books, Maps, Music sheets, wrapping papers and so much more.
Simone can also create dinner table name cards, customised boxes for favors, thank you cards.
Following the tragic 2019 Christchurch Terror Attack, Simone was was commissioned to design and make a permanent and everlasting artwork. UNITY symbolises the original intent and meaning of the thousands of floral tributes were laid outside the Botanic Gardens and other sites around Christchurch by making use of the actual wrappers of hundreds of these floral tributes.
UNITY is now in the Canterbury Museum's permanent collection.
